Our List of Core Services:
Wellpoint Dewatering
Wellpoint dewatering is crucial for lowering groundwater levels in excavation sites. Our wellpoint dewatering systems efficiently remove water from the ground, creating a dry and stable work environment. This service is ideal for construction projects, foundation work, and any site requiring controlled groundwater levels.
Industrial Water Treatment and Filtration
Water treatment is more than just filtration. While filtration is key to the water cleaning process, NCS Fluid Handling Systems understands all aspects of water treatment. Our water treatment services employ the latest technologies and advanced methods to remove constituents, ensuring water quality meets the various jurisdictional requirements across Canada. With engineered and designed solutions and services in-house, our team delivers safe and reliable water treatment solutions.
Creek & River Diversions
During industrial development and activities near watercourses, NCS Fluid Handling Systems has a proven track record of successful creek and river diversion services. The diversion design integrates various means to temporarily divert water flow during industrial activity and provide a safe, dry working area. All designs and operations through to completion consider all environmental requirements.
Sewer or Storm Water Bypass Pumping
Planned bypass pumping and emergency bypass plans are critical during the construction and repair of water and sewer lines. These projects depend on uninterrupted flow during all site activities. Our design teams and operations technicians work in tandem to build a safe and effective bypass plan and execution plan.
Erosion and Sediment Control
NCS Fluid Handling Systems continues to grow and enhance the overall water management market and has established itself as a trusted provider of sediment control on job sites throughout Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Alberta, and British Columbia. Their experienced technicians are trained and supported by the most current technologies and equipment. True to the NCS reputation they respond with a sense of urgency to keep your project site safe, functional, and environmentally compliant. They have gained the confidence of municipal governments and environmental engineers by ensuring that all work is carried out as per the permit and execution plan. The team at NCS Erosion and Sediment control have experience across Canada and in many major municipalities. They apply this knowledge to the various and changing water conditions that may be influenced by weather patterns or seasonality and are able to make quick and accurate adjustments to the treatment system.
Hydrostatic Testing
Hydrostatic testing is a non-destructive test method used to verify the strength and integrity of pressure vessels, such as pipelines, gas cylinders, boilers, and fuel tanks. The process involves filling the vessel with a liquid, usually water. If the tank is an atmospheric tank, the process of filling follows API sections for fill rate and stabilization, with the intent to run a full function test and stabilize the tank base. If the process is testing a pipeline, then pressurizing it to a specified level to check for leaks and structural integrity is additionally included.
With over 300 years of combined experience in hydrotesting services and design, NCS technicians bring unparalleled expertise to every project. NCS utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to ensure precise and reliable hydrostatic testing. By leveraging their extensive experience, advanced technology, and commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, NCS Fluid Handling Systems ensures that hydrostatic testing is performed to the highest standards, supporting the success of projects across Canada.
HDPE Pipe and Fusion
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe is a type of flexible plastic pipe used for fluid and gas transfer. It is made from thermoplastic HDPE, known for its high strength-to-density ratio, durability, and resistance to many environmental factors. HDPE pipes are commonly used in various applications, including water mains, sewer mains, slurry transfer lines, and stormwater or drainage pipes. Fusing HDPE involves joining two pieces of HDPE pipe using heat fusion methods. The most common technique is butt fusion, which involves heating the ends of the pipes and then pressing them together to form a strong, permanent joint. The experienced technicians at NCS Fluid Handling Systems play a crucial role in supporting various projects across Canada with their expertise in HDPE fusing. By leveraging their extensive experience and technical expertise, NCS Fluid Handling Systems ensures that HDPE fusing is performed to the highest standards, supporting the success of projects in diverse industries.
Environmental Service and Products
Our environmental suite of products, including Ark Flood double and triple wall water-filled dams, portable tanks, and culvert plugs, are only a part of the flood and water control products NCS offers. Aiming to proactively protect property and communities is always desired, but when time doesn’t allow, these products can be quickly deployed and installed with preventive measures and emergency response in mind. Also, with a large fleet of equipment available across Canada, NCS et al can provide pumps of all sizes, pumping systems, and with strategic locations across Canada in place, response time can be reduced.
