Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and project teams.

  • Maintain project files, records, and documentation in shared systems.

  • Support project safety and site compliance by maintaining and updating certifications, training records, including clearances.

  • Track tasks, deadlines, timesheets, project deliverables and follow up with team members as needed.

  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and status updates.

  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense documentation related to projects.

  • Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and correspondence.

  • Assist and manage office communications, scheduling, and supplies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or administrative support

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive self-starter who is resourceful and able to work independently.

  • Experience with office software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).

Role Summary 

As Director of Operations, you will lead and supervise all regional operational, financial, safety,  and people-related aspects of NCS’s projects. Your role is critical in ensuring that projects are  delivered on time, within budget, safely, and with high quality—while achieving financial targets.  You will also ensure customer satisfaction through rigorous process discipline (e.g. LEM  generation, signoffs, cost accuracy) and maintain compliance and safety across all field and site  operations. You will play a critical role in driving both execution and strategy, working closely with  field teams, project managers, finance, and sales to ensure seamless service delivery, client  satisfaction, and profitability 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and oversee all regional operational, financial, safety, and people-related aspects of  projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. 
  • Ensure regional projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality  standards. 
  • Support bid strategy discussions by providing technical input, ensuring competitive and  compliant proposals.
  • Drive operational efficiency through scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce  planning. 
  • Ensure accuracy in Labor, Equipment, and Material (LEM) tracking, customer signoffs,  and compliance prior to invoicing. 
  • Oversee all related expense records (e.g., receiving tickets), ensuring they are properly  closed and marked as completed in a timely manner. 
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions as  needed. 
  • Meet or exceed revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA targets through disciplined project  execution and cost control. 
  • Collaborate with Finance on cost tracking, revenue recognition, forecasting, and  operational alignment. 
  • Implement KPIs and operational metrics to improve margins, efficiency, and continuous  improvement. 
  • Support Sales and Business Development with operational insights, project data, and field  intelligence. 
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to policies  and regulations. 
  • Lead, mentor, and manage project managers, field supervisors, and technicians, fostering  a high-performance culture. 
  • Oversee employee lifecycle activities, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance  management, and succession planning. 
  • Support staff evaluation and development systems to promote accountability, teamwork,  and continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure client satisfaction through rigorous process discipline, standards adherence, and  proactive communication. 

Competencies & Qualifications Required: 

  • Minimum 5+ years in a leadership, project management or operations management role (preferably in energy, construction, pump/water management or a related field). Familiarity with fluid system components such as diesel/electric pumps, HDPE piping,  valves, fittings, tanks, and filtration systems. 
  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and pumping system design is a plus. Essential knowledge of operating and managing pumps brands like Global, BBA and  Selwood is an advantage. 
  • Must have previous experience managing projects related to oil and gas applications  including Trans Mountain, Woodfibre LNG, and Trans Canada Pipeline. 
  • Previous experience dealing with pump manufacturers and distributors across North  America is a plus. 
  • Proven track record of managing P&L, budgets, and achieving EBITDA targets. Strong understanding of project execution, financial forecasting, and operational controls ; 4CastPlus software experience is a strong asset. 
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety practices, including hazard identification,  incident management and FLHA protocols.; knowledge of SiteDocs tool is a plus. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), operational reporting tools, and  LEM systems.  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as required.

As a Lead Hand, you will be responsible for assisting the Foreman in field operations, leading crews, ensuring safety compliance, and overseeing equipment setup and operation. This is an opportunity for a motivated field technician to take the next step in their career.

  • Lead and direct crews in daily job site operations.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling pumps, filtration systems, and temporary piping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Schedule labour and resources, adjusting as needed to meet project demands.
  • Oversee site setup and operations for water management systems.

  • Coordinate inspections and compliance checks, addressing deficiencies as required.
